Spawning grounds trip.

The rain is over, but the water level rose only in the morning. We set off with the filming crew to see the coho salmon spawning grounds.

Sadly, we found the spawning river channel isolated from the main river, and completely fish-free, apart from the occasional grayling. The local territory of the Steller’s Sea Eagle was occupied, but the nest was empty.
