The Skalistiy Cape bird colony seems to have resurrected, after some 10 years. Murres, Kittiwakes, Slaty-backed gulls were abundant as
in old days. A few years ago the colony was not in a good shape, because of unknown
reasons.
Nearby, a young eagle took off in front of our boat and was immediately
attacked by a peregrine. What a performance:
And finally, some bears (again)
At high tide we got to the Ploskiy ranger's station and settle there in anticipation of a cyclone.
